The core values of Riverside Community Church are “revere, contribute, connect” which is also the core values of the rccARTS ministries. Our goal is to help people in our community revere God, contribute to the needs of the body and our world at large and connect with one another in life together.
We are helping others REVERE God by providing inspirational teachings in worship and arts, life-changing weekly music and worship, and creating venues and art that points to a loving and merciful God.
We are helping others CONTRIBUTE to the needs of the body and the world at large by providing opportunities to minister to our community through special music and art presentations, choral and dramatic productions, weekly music and worship, use of modern technology, and venues that provide an outlet for our gifted artists. We also strive to reach beyond our local community of faith and change our world through outreaches to Pittsburgh and the world.
We help others CONNECT with one another in life together by creating community in every one of our ministries. It is not enough to just come serve – we hold the value of sharing life together as one of our top priorities. Whether it’s a worship team, choir, tech crew or a small group – we intentionally enjoy each other and foster a family-like atmosphere. When a member of the family needs cared for – it is the other family members who help address the need, not just the “clergy” or “paid staff”.
All in all – our aim is to help others find their identities as worshippers and inspire not only personal life-change, but also to realize the call to change our world in this generation, one life at a time.
